#6. Detroit Pistons – 11/28/2014, Palace of Auburn Hills
On the subject of Parker anticipating missed shots we arrive at this meeting with the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills on November 28th.
Another (then) teammate of Parker’s who could be prone to spells of missing shots was Ersan Ilyasova (who ironically enough, is now with Detroit), meaning there would be rebounding opportunities aplenty for Milwaukee’s forwards.
You don’t necessarily expect a rookie to rebound three-pointers when he’s standing on the perimeter himself though.
Once again, Parker showcased his anticipation and energy by sprinting in from the perimeter when the shot was in the air, yet this time I finished with a thunderous put-back dunk off the rim while Josh Smith stood helplessly underneath.
