#5. Philadelphia 76ers – 10/31/2014, Bradley Center
The art of intelligently running a fastbreak isn’t just about the actions of the ball-handler as the Bucks and Parker demonstrated in another highlight from their Halloween matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers.
In this case, O.J. Mayo is the man tasked with bringing the ball up the floor and orchestrating the move from one end to the other. In tow with him are the obvious options, Giannis Antetokounmpo on the right wing and Kendall Marshall on the left.
Both of those players eventually converge to do little more than clog the paint. Jabari on the other hand took a step back, aware of spacing the floor correctly, and allowing Mayo to drop the ball back to him.Once the ball was in Parker’s hands, he took off with an explosive leap and an athletic finish.
Fastbreak basketball doesn’t get much more exciting that that.
