Picture this: an incensed LeBron James is coming into his 13th season in the NBA. He’s unquestionably the best player in the Association, but he wants more. He wants to bring a title to his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, and cement his legacy as one of the best players of all-time.

His first season back in Cleveland was marred by injuries to key Cavaliers (Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Anderson Varejao being the most damaging) and roster turnover throughout the first portion of the season. Now he is back with a stacked, healthy roster that can finally play a full season together.

Sounds pretty formidable, right? Well that’s this season for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs’ big three (Love, LeBron, Irving) will finally get a full season together to get used to playing with each other. Are they going to overpay for Tristan Thompson? Yes. Does it matter? Not really.

The Cavaliers don’t need to go get any more talent. Their roster has enough. Barring more unfortunate injuries to their key players, I don’t see any team in the Eastern Conference knocking off Cleveland this season.
