AM: Which Bull are you most excited to see playing this season?
MW: I like this question. There’s a ton of different directions to go with this one. The common answers will probably be Derrick Rose (second year playing extended time) and Jimmy Butler (proving last year wasn’t a fluke).
I’m going to go with Joakim Noah. Last year was one of Noah’s worst in his NBA career. He never looked healthy throughout the season and appeared to be a shell of himself. Like I said earlier, he’s not getting any younger, but not many are able to pump themselves up and get going like Joakim Noah.
I expect him to bounce back this season and have a big year. The numbers may not be as impressive as two years ago when he received MVP votes, but I have a good feeling about Noah this season. The curious thing with Noah is his place in the rotation. Will Hoiberg start him? I’m not sure, but regardless, he’s primed for a bounce back year.
