4. Rashad Vaughn Makes The All-Rookie Second Team

Rashad Vaughn has been spectacular this pre-season. Through October 16th he was 14th in the NBA in points per game, at 16.7. Couple that with shooting 44 percent from three-point land and you have a guy who is more NBA ready than many thought he would be as a 19-year-old rookie.

I think Vaughn is going to be a great scoring option off the bench for the Bucks and because of that he is going to make the All-Rookie Second Team. I would not be shocked if Vaughn averages about nine points a game in 15 minutes while shooting 38 percent from three. Rookies who have made the All-Rookie Second Team in the past have done a lot worse than that.

He is a complete offensive player. Milwaukee will need his three-point shooting most, but Vaughn can get into the lane or hit midrange jumpers with ease for someone of his age.

He doesn’t seem phased playing against the best basketball players in the world. I think he is going to have a solid first season and people are going to, again, be commending John Hammond on finding a useful, high upside player in the middle of the first round.
