What Will Giannis’ Year Three Look Like?

From one promising player to another, Giannis Antetokounmpo has grown significantly in front of our eyes over the course of the last two years.

His game is still very much a work in progress, but the growth that he’s shown, especially over the last year, has definitely fueled some of the rising expectations surrounding the team this season.

His outside shooting has looked improved, judging from how he’s played during the pre-season as well as Eurobasket, but what’s really stood out so far is his improved physique and ability to attack the rim, especially in transition.

There’s no limit to what he can do physically but it’s all about translating that unlimited physicality into basketball skills, and he’s exceeded many check points when it comes to his personal progress at this point.

His confidence in his shot looks to hold him back from time to time, so there’s still room for improvement on that front, but if he can start to hold his own consistently night in, night out, it’s hard to imagine what he can’t do.
