  • I felt he stuck with his bench unit a little too long going into the fourth quarter. Does the lineup of: Vasquez, Bayless, Copeland, O’Bryant, and Henson scream offense? Of course not. The unit mustered just 4 points (all from Henson) before Giannis Antetokounpo entered the game with 8:25 remaining and the floodgates opened for the offense. To Kidd’s credit that unit held its own, despite being spoiled by Knicks turnovers and missed threes.
  • The Bucks tend to go ice-cold for long stretches. Giannis is never that cold–he’s 8th in the league in FG%. Why then, doesn’t Kidd force the offense to run through Giannis? It’s inexplicable. The kid can get any shot that he wants, and if he feels generous enough to pass will always have a teammate open. Instead he allows Vasquez and Bayless to do pull-up nonsense.
