5. John Henson

Want to know just how important John Henson is to the Bucks? Look back on how they played without him through his early season injuries. Henson is not only a defensive anchor, but a hive of energy and enthusiasm that can help anchor this young squad to pull in the one direction.

After sitting out injured since a ten minute cameo appearance on opening night, Henson returned to face New York again on Friday and gave everybody a taste of what could be to come with a new contract under his belt.

The big man didn’t just pound the boards and challenge shots, he pushed himself to the fore offensively with 22 important points in 23 minutes as well. That acted as the perfect balance for a night when Greg Monroe struggled a little, and that’s exactly the balance that the Bucks have to look to strike.
