13. Rashad Vaughn

Rashad Vaughn looks super sharp. Everything that applies for Inglis, is similarly relevant for Vaughn right now, but he’s showing himself to be much better than anybody could possibly have anticipated. Any doubts about his draft selection should be quickly cast aside.

Having only just turned 19 years of age, Vaughn is a 17th overall pick extremely well spent. Of course, he’s got a lot of learning to do and is still incredibly raw, but drafted as a shooter, his 40 percent success rate from deep is beyond encouraging.

It rarely all clicks overnight for mid-first round picks, but its the fundamentals that are most encouraging about Vaughn. Sure, his stroke is silky smooth as everybody knew from his time at UNLV, but his movement is reminiscent of the best veteran shooters too, even up against NBA defenses. More minutes please.
