9. Jerryd Bayless

If Jerry Bayless and the Bucks could play the Brooklyn Nets every night, the veteran guard would be the best player in the NBA it seems. Bayless has had an impressive start to the season, bolstered significantly by his play against Brooklyn.

In two games against the Nets, Bayless is averaging 22.5 points and six assists on 53.5 percent field goal shooting and 56 percent shooting from deep. That shows just what Bayless is capable of when the Bucks need to call on him, and it’s an encouraging way to start the season.

Overall, Bayless hasn’t scored at anywhere near those heights, nor does he necessarily have to. With Michael Carter-Williams guaranteed to return to full health eventually, Bayless will once again be asked to offer more of a counter-punch. At least now Milwaukee knows that he might be up to the challenge.
