Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

Greivis Vasquez, B+

13 Points| 4-8 FG | 3-5 FT | 3 REB | 4 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | I take it all back. Like I always knew I would. He’s feeling it now and is seemingly fully acclimated to the Buck’s offense. You can see that confidence when he took it into the teeth of the Cavs defense for the toilet-swirl and one layup (which he celebrated well before it actually went down). That three in 2OT was cold. He plays with Bucks-level passion.

Jeryyd Bayless, B

17 Points | 7-16 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 5 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | He maintained his fiery three point touch Saturday night, shooting 3-7 from behind the arc. Right now he feels like the guy the Bucks rely on when they need a big shot. He provided it in the last minute of regulation, delivering a teardrop right in the heart of the Cavs defense. That was a huge bucket. It’s a shame he couldn’t drill the game winner.

John Henson, B+

6 Points | 3-5 FG | 0-2 FT | 6  REB | 1 AST | 1 STL | 3 BLK | Never one to exert too much energy offensively, Henson got it down on the defensive end. He created real problems for the Cavs at the rim–collecting three blocks in 21 minutes. He showed exceptional hustle in tracking down four offensive rebounds, too. If you can get defense and rebounding from Henson you’ll take whatever you get from him on offense. That’s gravy.

Johnny O’Bryant, C-

0 Points| 0-2 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | Came in early in the first quarter after Jabari picked up a pair of quick fouls. He proceeded to get worked by Kevin Love while missing a couple of those mid range jumpers that he’s so fond of. Jason Kidd quickly showed him the bench, where he remained for the rest of the game.

Miles Plumlee, C-

0 Points | 0-1 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | He played two minutes. And they were a pretty nondescript two minutes, save for a wacky left handed hook shot that careened off the backboard. Like O’Bryant, he was shown the bench early, never to return.
