AM: Bradley Beal is averaging almost 23 points per game while shooting the ball incredibly well from all across the floor. Are you confident that he will be consistent enough to be the franchise’s go-to scorer for long into the future?

BM: The “new offense” — meaning improved spacing and an emphasis on transition play — has given Bradley Beal a platform to thrive. He’s not settling for deep two point shots and has traded those inefficient tries for threes. Instead of settling, he’s constantly looking to attack.

I’m confident that he can become the go-to scorer, but it’s just a matter of being able to stay on the floor without getting hurt. He’s missed the last few games with a sore shoulder. Beal is a talented player, but his best talent is scaring Wizards fans with injuries.

If he can stay healthy, the 22-year-old has all the tools to become an All-Star guard and Washington’s go-to scorer.
