Jason Kidd, C

  • The Bucks got the win, but these rotations were still too bad for Kidd to get any better than a C for his coaching performance. Giannis and Moose need more minutes, and Bayless and Mayo need less. Even if the symbolic gesture of knocking MCW and Jabari out of the starting five was to motivate them, Jerryd and Juice didn’t need to actually get starter’s minutes just because they were on the floor to start the game.
  • That being said, the motivation that fell flat last game really seemed to take hold with Michael Carter-Williams. Either that or it was just his natural inconsistency at work again. Hopefully this is the last time he’s out of the starting lineup again so we don’t have to find out.
  • Kidd did manage to not get ejected, and also got his guys to hustle defensively. That’s something that hadn’t happened much this season, and it deserves recognition.
