7. Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls have been good to start the season, but there’s one big problem. Up to this point the Bulls aren’t doing anything drastically different under Hoiberg than what they did with Tom Thibodeau. Going against what seemed like conventional wisdom their defense has actually improved so far under Hoiberg, but their offense has regressed significantly.

At the moment it seems like the Bulls will be good again, which is no surprise, but I’m not sure they’re any closer to being great. Jimmy Butler has been excellent, but he needs a little more help when it comes to sharing the scoring load.
