24. Houston Rockets

Many people’s tip (mine included) to post the best regular season record in the West this season or at least provide a stern test for Golden State, the Houston Rockets have had a brutal transformation to start the season. Kevin McHale is gone, they’re already rumored to be shopping the recently acquired Ty Lawson, and let’s be honest they are completely awful.

James Harden might be getting his points, but he is by no means efficient, his defense has been terrible and he’s second in the NBA in turnovers. Dwight Howard hasn’t been scoring enough to help out either, and more than anything Houston seem devoid of leadership. Amazingly, this seems like it will be a tough one to turn around.
