Player of the Week Rankings
1. ???
2. ???
3. Jabari Parker

Jabari Parker hasn’t shown up on these rankings too much this season but this week he definitely deserves a place here. He beat out Giannis Antetokounmpo for the third spot. We really need to get him a nickname…

Jabari averaged 12.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.8 turnovers, 1 steal, and 0.6 blocks in 24.9 minutes per game this week. Pretty good besides the low number of assists. He was third in points, second in rebounds, and third in steals. Additionally, he had the fewest turnovers per game of any player who played more than 11 minutes per.

Jabari has been dunking up a storm this season. He seems to throw down a highlight caliber dunk or two every game. His explosiveness coming off an ACL injury is a great sign.

Jabari averaged nine points per game in losses this week while averaging 16.5 points per game in the wins. When Parker is scoring the Bucks are more likely to be winning. He shot 45.1 percent from the field this week. Pretty average for a guy doing most of his damage in the paint.

As the week wore on, Jabari seemed to start to look more comfortable with his jumper back. It all culminated in the last game of the week in the victory of the Knicks.

Jabari had by far his best game of the week against New York, 17 points and seven boards. It isn’t surprising that the return of him shooting longer shots had something to do with it. He took three shots that were 17 feet or further away from the hoop and made one.

If Jabari can continue shooting the ball away from the hoop and do it effectively it should help open up the Bucks offense even more.

This week also marked a solid week of defense for Jabari. He had a good looking defensive rating of 92.8. He got the job done on that end.

Now for Jabari highlights!

Oooooohhhhh!

Aaaaahhhh!

Nice!

Okay, seriously, just stop!

The future is very bright for this young Buck! Jabari is going to have a very fun highlight reel when is he hangs up his jersey for the last time.
