  • He stuck with MCW, Giannis, Vaughn, JOB, and Henson while the Warriors made their 15-0 first half run. If the game got out of hand he would have been ostracized for leaving in such an inept offensive group. As it stands they rewarded his faith in them with an 8-0 run of their own to reclaim the lead while providing ample rest for Parker, Mayo, and Monroe. Now rested, the starters were able to stretch the Buck’s advantage to eleven by halftime. Kidd’s got brass, no doubt about that.
  • In the third quarter, during another Warriors rally, Kidd waited about three possession too long to call timeout. In just under three minutes the Bucks saw their ten point advantage dwindle down to just one point. Meanwhile the Warriors were bombing threes and getting easy layups. Kidd would have done well to call a timeout after Thompson’s three pointer that pulled the Warriors within three, but waited until after Rush’s layup on the next possession. Fortunately, his team responded with an 8-1 run out of the timeout.
