As great as it was to see the Milwaukee Bucks give the Golden State Warriors everything they had, it would have been real nice to see them close this game out. Still, there were a ton of positive signs in this one.
Riley Feldmann summed it up far better than I could in his game recap, but the essence of the game is that Milwaukee controlled the game for most of three quarters but simply couldn’t hold the lead against the surging Warriors.
One notable thing is that the real starting lineup is back! And they can play really well together, even without shooting threes. Still, a bit more spacing is necessary for this unit to be very good.
Michael Carter-Williams had his finest game of the year, and it was definitely a revenge game. He must’ve noticed all the talk about his celebrating the last time these two teams played, and it drove him to do some more celebrating this time around.
Since there was a lot of it, let’s get to the good stuff that happened in this one.
