Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Starters

Michael Carter-Williams, A

18 Points | 9-13 FG | 0-0 FT | 5 REB | 9 AST | 4 STL | 1 BLK |

As he’s playing at the moment, he runs the team with conviction when he’s out on the floor. Seems to be playing with his head up much more often than in the past. Sure, turnovers need to be dramatically reduced, but on a night where he does so much across the floor and really seemed to be going out of his way to pass, he can be forgiven for that.

Khris Middleton, A

21 Points| 8-9 FG | 3-4 FT | 5 REB | 6 AST | 2 STL | 0 BLK |

Much like Giannis, Middleton had a perfect field goal shooting night going up until late in the game. His shot has looked automatic in the last two games after some shaky performances on the road trip, but perhaps even more impressive was his ability to follow up a seven assist game on Sunday with a six assist game on the Wednesday night.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, A+

22 Points | 11-13 FG | 0-0 FT | 5 REB | 6 AST | 2 STL | 2 BLK |

Completely dominant. Was playing at ease, and probably could have had a whole lot more if that’s what he had wanted. His full variety of moves were on display, as well as some we probably haven’t seen before. Thankfully there were no adverse signs to his brief injury absence, and the Greek Freak looks better than ever.

Jabari Parker, B+

16 Points | 8-10 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 3 AST | 2 STL | 2 BLK |

Super accurate and efficient from the field. Showed some nice flashes of the mid-range game that everybody hopes he can develop, but primarily did his work inside. If most of your attempts are going to be dunks, you’re not going to miss a lot of shots. That certainly seems like a good plan for Parker.

Greg Monroe, C+

11 Points| 4-10 FG | 3-4 FT | 6 REB | 1 AST | 2 STL | 2 BLK |

Moose was easily the worst of the starters on the night, but considering the standard of play that’s not necessarily a slight. Did his job, as per usual, and with the team holding such a commanding advantage he only played 24 minutes which was a nice luxury for Prunty to have.
