Carter-Williams wasn’t terrible against the Jazz, but he took far too many shots. His night would’ve been so much better if he took eight shots instead of 14. The rest of his stats look nice and all, but those misses cost the Bucks potentially good shots from Middleton, Giannis and Moose.

Khris Middleton

All that usage is taking its toll on the usually efficient Middleton. Khash had nine turnovers against Utah: one for each assist Milwaukee had as a team. That’s..uh…not good.

I don’t mind low-usage Giannis, because he’s very good at scoring a decent amount of points on hardly any shots. His recent penchant for getting to the foul line helps a lot with that, as does his hesitation to take shots. Still though, it’s a lot more fun to watch the Greek Freak than the Meek Freak.

Not much good happened for Jabari against Utah, but I’m not sweating an off night against probably the NBA’s best rim protector. It happens, especially to rookies. Major Cat will be back, and it will be glorious.

Yet another efficient scoring evening for Milwaukee’s Moose. He didn’t do anything especially spectacular, but he flirted with a double-double, as is tradition. Being able to score at all against the frontcourt of Derrick Favors and Gobert is impressive–those Jazz defenders are no joke.
