Reactions: The Bad

  • Jerryd Bayless played a hell of a game. His 4-6 three point shooting led the team from beyond the arc consistently lifted the Bucks in key moments. He also provided a critical sideline jumper late in the fourth quarter and was solid spotting up all night. He did, however, commit this mind-numbing mistake in the game’s waning moments.
  • For as good as the third quarter was the fourth quarter was it’s dismal equal. The yang to the third’s ying. In this period the Bucks got out-rebounded 14-5, out-shot 52%-47%, and committed four turnovers to the Celtics zero. To a certain degree this is a byproduct of the Bucks lackadaisical play when they built their big lead. The other part of the poor play was a complete lack of execution late.
  • Khris Middleton made some clutch buckets late. He also made the game-sealing free throw (and subsequent intentional miss) to put the game away. He shot 3-7 in the fourth and was 3-9 in the three quarters prior. Eventually he’s going to snap out of this shooting slump (36.4% in his last ten games). For fans that can’t come soon enough.
