All-Time Worst 10 Milwaukee Bucks Trades
By Ti Windisch
Even if the Milwaukee Bucks haven’t made the best moves this season, it could always be worse! Here are the worst ten trades the Bucks have ever made.
The Milwaukee Bucks have a long, rich history in the NBA. What they do not have a long, rich history of is making good trades.
The Bucks have missed on a LOT of trades throughout franchise history. We’ve decided to document the 10 worst misses, as bleak reminders that it could always be worse.
One thing the Bucks really struggle with is trading a star player. Both Ray Allen and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar being traded away made this list. It’s pretty hard not to lose when you trade Kareem, honestly.
The one near miss that just lost out as the eleventh-worst trade was when Milwaukee traded the draft rights of Dirk Nowitzki and another player to Dallas for Robert Traylor. Considering the unknown factor of European players at the time, I decided to not hold it against the Bucks too much.
These other ten were just bad, though. They’re ranked in order of awfulness, meaning the last one is the worst trade the Milwaukee Bucks have ever made. All of the trades are from the Bucks significant transactions page, except for number eight which was not listed for some reason.
