The Leading Milwaukee Bucks In Each Statistical Category: February Edition
By Ti Windisch
Khris Middleton – 17.9 points per game – 31st in the NBA
Money Middleton retains his title from last month as Milwaukee’s leading per game scorer. Although he’s still well outside of the top 20 or so scorers in the NBA, Middleton did move up a few spots on the leaderboard.
He’s scoring around 20 points per game in the 2016 calendar year, which would bump him up to around 20th in the Association. Middleton actually peaked in January though–with the increased offensive load Jabari Parker has taken on there have been less opportunities for Money.
This will be a fun thing to keep up with as the months and even years go on in Milwaukee. Giannis Antetokounmpo held down the scoring burden earlier this season, and now it’s on Khris Middleton. But Jabari is taking strides towards being the Bucks lead dog.
Who knows who will lead the Milwaukee Bucks in scoring in a season or three. It could be any of the three key young Bucks, just depending on how each of them develops.
