Milwaukee Bucks Player of the Week Rankings
1. ???
2. Khris Middleton
3. Greg Monroe

Khash played in all three games this week and averaged 38.9 minutes, 21.7 points (48.0 percent shooting), 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. He led the Bucks in scoring and steals, was second in assists, and fourth in rebounds. Additionally, he led the team in both free throw attempts and plus/minus with 4.7 and +3.3 respectively.

Khris Middleton played great this week. Often this season, Khris has taken over the role of the main offensive threat and this week was no different. He was the leading scorer and free throw creator. To go along with that he also shot solid percentages. He shot 48 percent from the field, 33 percent from three-point territory, and 93 percent from the free throw line.

In their last three games there have only been eight NBA players who have averaged at least 21 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. Those eight players are: Steph Curry, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Paul George, Kyle Lowry, Chris Paul, and Khris Middleton. That’s an impressive list for Middleton to be a member of. Also here is a fun fact: Khris is the youngest of all those players!

Another important contribution Middleton provided for his team this week was his defense. He was arguably the most impactful defender on the Bucks. He had the most steals with 2.0 per game and the lowest defensive rating with 101.2. Without Middleton Milwaukee’s defense would have surely suffered.

Khris Middleton is probably the Milwaukee Bucks MVP this season. Some weeks he hasn’t had it going on but over the course of the season he has been consistently strong on both ends of the court. This week you could make the argument that he was both the Bucks best offensive and defensive player. I think that is more than enough to get you into the player of the week rankings.
