His jumper flowed, he was chippy (as seen in a mini scuffle involving Kendrick Perkins), and he notched one of his patented chase-down blocks. What more could you ask of him? Well, those with an eye for scrutiny would say he shouldn’t have hesitated on his back-breaking fourth quarter three. But that’s just being picky.

Mr. Consistency pretty much sums it up. He played his standard game–taking good shots, protecting the ball, playing critically underrated defense–and by the end of the game he was a teammate’s brick or two away from notching a triple-double. He also handled a larger portion of bringing the ball up-court which accounts for his higher than average assist count.

I’m not impressed by a high teens Giannis scoring line anymore. He’s shown that he can get a good look at the rim whenever he wants. What does impress me is when he protects the ball while facilitating the offense. He did neither of those against the Pelicans, turning it over five time to just four assists. Look for him to return to form against the Nets.
Jabari Parker

15 Points | 4-10 FG | 7-8 FT | 5 REB | 2 AST | 3 STL | 0 BLK
I hate to come back to the Parker/Moose conversation, but it’s inescapable: Parker just doesn’t look as good when he’s on the court with Moose. Parker shot just 1-5 in the first half and started the second with a couple of nonsense turnovers (six total). He recovered to put up a respectable stat-line, but there’s no mistaking that this one was ugly.
Greg Monroe, B+
16 Points| 6-10 FG | 4-4 FT | 11 REB | 2 AST | 1 STL | 1 BLK |
I like to imagine a world where Moose is completely happy with his decision to come to Milwaukee, is totally invested as a part of the future, and loves playing ball with his teammates. Sadly, none of those things seem true. Still, Moose put up yet another double-double while anchoring the Bucks attack Saturday night.
