  • His in-game demeanor is so collected that sometimes it’s hard to really tell if he’s doing much coaching at all. That means we have to look to his lineups for sources of scrutiny. There was little to be found against the Pelicans. He used Middleton as a second quarter anchor in a Ennis, Vaughn, Middleton, JOB, Plumlee lineup–but that lineup was fairly short lived.
  • I like that he had the guts to put Plumlee on Davis. Plumlee held his own, of course, notching a pair of blocks on the All-World forward as well as forcing an intimidation air-ball. The Bucks did an excellent job on Davis in general, despite giving up 29 points to him. They limited him to just 8-22 shooting and a +/- of -24. That’s an encouraging look.
