Week 21 Wrap Up

Giannis was the best basketball player in the world this week.

The Milwaukee Bucks had more than that to be excited about, however. Players like Tyler Ennis and Damien Inglis had their best weeks of the season. Additionally, Miles Plumlee and Jerryd Bayless played well and John Henson came back from his injury and looked good too.

The Bucks bench has been really bad this season but with these five players stepping up their games the bench was an area of strength for Milwaukee this week. Henson already has a nice contract for the next few years but guys like Ennis, Plumlee, Bayless, and Inglis are all fighting for some job security. Plumlee and Bayless have proven their worth already this season but Ennis and Inglis still have a lot to prove.

More from Behind the Buck Pass

The success of the bench is a major contributor to the Bucks winning more than they lost this week. Additionally, Jabari, Khris, and Giannis played significantly less minutes than they had been lately because of the success of the bench.

This is a good thing because those three have each been playing almost 40 minutes a night since the All Star break.

Next week the Bucks play five games. Their final four of the week are against teams with winning records. It is going to be a really challenging week but if Giannis keeps doing his thing and the bench continues to play well Milwaukee could steal a few of the games.
