Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

Miles Plumlee
Miles Plumlee /

, B

4 Points | 2-3 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

With the rise of John Henson Plumlee’s minutes have been reduced slightly. He played just 14 minutes against the Pistons and while he will never be a high usage sort of player, he showed that he can be effective regardless of minutes and who he’s lining up against.

John Henson, C-

3 Points | 1-2 FG | 1-2 FT | 1 REB | 3 AST | 0 STL | 1 BLK |

The problem with John Henson is that when he’s stacked up against wider opponents he struggles mightily on the glass. He hauled in just one rebound in fourteen minutes and was on the floor on the final play where Giannis got caught on Drummond.

Damien Inglis

2 Points | 1-3 FG | 0-0 FT | 3 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

At this point it’s reasonable to suggest that Inglis has taken over JOB’s minutes entirely. The reasoning is clear–Inglis gets more done with the minutes he’s given. He tallied up three rebounds in twelve minutes which just so happened to lead the bench. There’s still question marks surrounding his game, but he’s shown he’s at least useful.

Jared Cunningham, C-

2 Points | 1-3 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 0 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

It’s hard to tell if he’s any better than Vaughn. He missed his only three pointer and though he looked to be a contributor on offense he didn’t get many results. At least he’s a discernible contributor with his minutes unlike Vaughn who short of shooting threes is absent.

Tyler Ennis

4 Points | 2-5 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 1 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

It’s starting to look like Ennis has a place in the Bucks long-term plans. He’s pushes his PER over 10 and looks more comfortable with the extra minutes that he’s gotten. He was one of the Bucks more effective bench players against the Pistons despite playing just 11 minutes.
