Reactions: The Bad

  • The Bucks were again ravaged on the glass, this time by a 49-38 count. The Suns had three players with 10 or more rebounds: P.J. Tucker (10), Tyson Chandler (13), and Alex Len (15). The Suns also grabbed 15 offensive rebounds to the Bucks nine with Len personally hauling in five. Judging by where the Bucks are in the draft, a big rebounding forward like Henry Ellenson is going to look really tempting…Monroe, Henson, and Plumlee be damned.
  • Jerryd Bayless had a very quiet game. He scored just two points in twelve minutes, going 1-4 from the field in the process and being just as invisible as he was against Charlotte. He’s a savvy veteran, so perhaps he’s checked out for the season. More likely is that the strong play of Tyler Ennis has prompted Jason Kidd to giving the important minutes to his younger players. Either way, I would like to see a little more from him as the season winds down.
  • The Suns committed 22 turnovers, the Bucks just 13, and yet the game was reasonably close in the final moments. The Bucks were unable to capitalize on those turnovers and never really got it going in transition. Fortunately the Bucks made plays with the game on the line, but you would like to have seen a much wider margin.
