Reactions: The Good

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo is incredible. Now he’s a shooter too. He made four out of his five attempted threes on Friday night, which was a beautiful sight to see. Giannis managed to score 27 points on 12 field goals against the Celtics–those are star numbers.
  • Miles Plumlee is making himself bank this summer. The Plumgod scored 16 points in 20 minutes against Boston, on just eight shots. He also recorded five rebounds, one assist and three steals. Unfortunately the other two centers did not match his production, but we’ll get there later.
  • Jabari Parker is also very, very good. As our usual grader Jeff Herrmann likes to point out, he’s great at scoring quiet points. You expect him to have just a few points at the end of games, and then he’s got 18 or 20. It took ‘Bari 18 shots to get his 18 points against Boston, but in stinker games like this nobody really minds Parker taking a whole lot of shots.
  • The Bucks lost! That’s a great result. With the loss, the Bucks have moved up into ninth in the tank standings! With a rough end to the season–which might have to include somehow losing to the 76ers–Milwaukee could still have a chance at getting the seventh pick. Anything is possible!
