Reactions: The Bad

  • Holy crap the Bucks defense is awful. Milwaukee allowed Tyler Zeller to go ham in the paint, scoring 26 points in 25 minutes. It’s easy to simply blame Greg Monroe for that sort of thing, but nobody looked great on that end against the Celtics.
  • The hopes and dreams of literally dozens of Bucks people took a turn for the worst on Friday, as Damien Inglis had a stinker in his 15 minutes of fame–I mean playing time. Inglis had more personal fouls and turnovers (four) than points, rebounds, assists and steals (three). Inglis failed to score at all, missing all three of his shots. Inglis Island is slowly sinking in the cruel, vicious ocean.
  • Greg Monroe has fallen, and he cannot get up. Moose and John Henson both had fairly poor games against the Celtics, but at this point in the season it’s hard to get too upset over it. Monroe was working hard in the first half–at least he hasn’t completely phoned it in. That’s sort of admirable, considering how this season has gone for him.
