With the ideal physical makeup and skillset that the Bucks seem to require at point guard, they may not be able to find a better and more realistic long-term fit for the position than Baldwin.

An unselfish floor general, Baldwin’s 6’10” wingspan gives him the potential to be a defensive pest (and an ideal fit if the Bucks look to stick with a scheme based on frequent switching), while as an over 40 percent shooter he would add some vital spacing to Milwaukee’s rotation.

Getting to sit down with Baldwin would give the Bucks a better sense at how the 20-year-old would fit into their developing culture and locker room.

The son of an FBI and a DEA agent, Baldwin has become well-known for his toughness and his distaste for losing. As he told The Tennesseean:

"I can be a sore loser. I hate losing. I need to come out victorious in every situation. How I cope with that is being a very passionate, very directing, very demanding person."

That drive and accountability can be a great asset in a player, as long as it doesn’t stray too far. An interview could give the team a clearer picture in that sense.
