Terrence Jones

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that he started 71 games as a second year player on a playoff team, but Terrence Jones feels like he’s been in the NBA a long time for a player who has only recently turned 24.

Jones has the body of a large, physical, power forward but some of the touch of a modern day stretch four.

With averages of 5.8 rebounds per game, which translates to 8.6 boards per 36 minutes, Jones shows good instincts on the glass and has been a consistent rebounder throughout his four seasons to date.

Jones has already proven he’s cut out to have a role in the league, but with his role having grown stale in a dysfunctional Rockets team, perhaps he’s just waiting on a change of scenery to reinvent himself. Now an unrestricted free agent, and still only 24, Jones will have that chance this summer.
