Milwaukee Bucks @ Brooklyn Nets – February 15

This is far from the most compelling matchup of the season. The Brooklyn Nets are in the middle of a long overdue rebuild and are expected to be one of the worst teams in the league this year. That won’t make the game any less important though, thanks to its position in the schedule.

Milwaukee will head into the All-Star break after this game in Brooklyn, marking a major marker for assessing how the season is progressing.

If the Bucks have played well in the first half of the season, they’ll come out of this game with a chance to refocus for the playoffs (and maybe even with a player or two headed for All-Star weekend).

On the flipside, a poor first half of the season could result in some moves being made at the trade deadline. The game itself won’t be the driving force behind moves, but it marks an important checkpoint.
