Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis will be even better next season than he was last season, but there are a few reasons he might not lead the team in scoring despite his typical giant leaps forward. The most glaring is that Point Giannis seems to really enjoy distributing the ball around.

He averaged 7.2 assists to go along with those 18.8 points per game, and it’s not hard to imagine Giannis becoming more pass-happy in the latter stages of games to notch extra triple-doubles. It also doesn’t help him that the players he’s setting up the most are the ones most likely to outscore him, although Giannis probably really doesn’t mind all that much.

He’s also most likely the farthest from having a serviceable three-point shot among Milwaukee’s big three. That matters–as the Golden State Warriors taught the rest of the NBA, three is worth more than two.

The Greek Freak could potentially lead Milwaukee in a couple of different stat categories but he might have to concede the Bucks scoring title to another player, both next season and beyond it.
