team. 89. Giannis is clearly the show in Milwaukee, but Thon Maker is so much fun. He puts so much effort into each play and although he has a lot of room to improve, he is showing flashes of what he could become. This wasn’t his best week from three this week, but his volume jumped up, so that is not surprising. Yet, for 7’1″, it is hard to argue with 5-for-14 (35.7 percent), as that is a fairly solid mark. It is unlikely for Thon to get up to 36 minutes per game anytime soon, but on a per-36 minute rate for just this week, Maker would have averaged 15.1 points and 9.4 rebounds per contest. <p>For such a young player, Maker is looking very solid and it is going to keep watching him in the starting lineup as the season rolls on.</p>.
