Although there are no Milwaukee Bucks players competing in 2017, the franchise has a rich history of participants in the Three-Point Shootout.
After a disappointing showing from Khris Middleton in the 2016 staging of the Three-Point Shootout, the Milwaukee Bucks are unfortunately without a representative at the event this time around.
Middleton broke a 14-year drought of no Bucks players participating in an event where the franchise has had distinguished previous performances, and in spite of a number of their players shooting the long ball well so far this season, this year marks the beginning of what will hopefully be a much shorter drought.
Instead, this year’s field is made up of defending champion, Klay Thompson of the Warriors, Toronto’s Kyle Lowry, Cleveland’s Kyrie Irving, Portland’s CJ McCollum, Houston’s Eric Gordon, Dallas’ Wesley Matthews, Charlotte’s Kemba Walker, and Nick Young of the Lakers.
