Major Key For Milwaukee: Move The Basketball
A few very fun things happen when the Milwaukee Bucks record at least 28 assists in a game this season. The first is that the team is 12-0 in those games, which is obviously very fun for Bucks fans.
The other fun thing is that Milwaukee has scored no less than 108 points in any of those 12 games, and the Bucks have managed to score more when they rack up plenty of assists than they have otherwise. Milwaukee’s highest-scoring game this season was a 137-112 walloping the team put on the Phoenix Suns earlier in February.
Obviously it’s good for the Bucks to score a lot of points and win just about any game. It will be even more important for Giannis Antetokounmpo and company to have a quality offensive attack considering that the team is going up against the Jazz.
Utah is third in the NBA in offensive rating and first in points allowed per game thus far this season. Thanks to Rudy Gobert manning the middle and a bevy of defensively-gifted players around him, it can be very hard to score against the Jazz.
The Bucks won’t need to put up 130 to beat a slow Jazz team, but they will need to put up a good amount of points to come out on top against a tough Western Conference foe.
