Major Key For Milwaukee: Find Somebody To Score
It seems Milwaukee may have dodged a bullet with Michael Beasley‘s injury. Reports suggest he will miss three games and be evaluated again after those games. That’s a huge relief for the Bucks if Beas can return in a week or two.
He’s been fantastic since the All-Star break, averaging 16.7 points per game on 64.7 percent field goal shooting. Without him, the Bucks don’t have too many scorers left.
Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the way with 23.4 points per game. The next three Bucks after him all have less than half of that total, with Greg Monroe averaging 11.5, Khris Middleton averaging 9.8 and Malcolm Brogdon putting up 9.7 points per game.
Some or all of those players will have to step up in Beasley’s absence, however long it lasts for. Seeing a bit of Axel Toupane might be fun too, although he hasn’t played a single minute in his Bucks career yet.
