Spencer Provides A Spark

Acquired in the Charlotte Hornets’ Miles Plumlee trade, Spencer Hawes has finally been given his chance in the past two games.

The Bucks needed an offensive spark, scoring only 12 points in the first quarter. Spencer Hawes came in to give them that spark, hitting all five of his shots in the first half. Hawes even managed to finish a circus shot off a nice pass from Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Hawes finished the night scoring 16 points in 17 minutes of action. Mirza Teletovic only received eight minutes, and John Henson was given a DNP-Coaches decision. Hawes was the spark the Bucks needed on the night. If he plays like this, the Bucks could have a lot of money continuing to sit.
