The Moose Was There To Give A Boost

As Giannis and Middleton stood at the forefront for the Bucks last night, Greg Monroe wasn’t far behind in his own right.

More from Behind the Buck Pass

Once again getting the nod off the bench, Monroe was relatively quiet throughout the first half, only scoring five points, grabbing two rebounds and handing out two assists in exactly nine minutes of action.

That changed in the second half, though it would have been tough to see, judging by his struggles around the rim to start the third quarter. That eventually wore off, though, and Monroe boasted all areas of his game, whether it was his scoring down low, his reliable playmaking or his activity on the defensive end.

In his 29 minutes of play, Monroe finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists, a block and had a plus-minus of +15, which came second only to Matthew Dellavedova on the team (Delly was a +18 in his 25 minutes).

Just another solid night for the big man and more will only have to follow if the Bucks want to continue their winning ways.
