Major Key For Minnesota: Rely On The Big Two

Much like the Bucks, the Minnesota Timberwolves sadly had a big three become a big two partially through the season due to injury. Soon after the Wolves lost Zach LaVine for the year, Jabari Parker went down as well.

Where the Bucks have seen Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo step up after their injury, Minnesota has seen Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins take on more of the load in recent weeks.

In their recent win over the Warriors, both Towns and Wiggins were fantastic. The former put up 23 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks, while Wiggins posted 24 points, four rebounds and two steals.

Minnesota is not a deep team, as seen by the Wolves playing just seven players for more than 12 minutes against Golden State and using just nine players total. That makes the role of Towns and Wiggins even more important for the Timberwolves.
