The Moose

The Bucks were in trouble to start the game. Thon Maker had his big energy dunk, but he looked to be in trouble with his match up against Myles Turner. Jason Kidd looked to Greg Monroe and the game instantly became more competitive.

With Khris Middleton and Jason Terry as the primary ball handlers in the second unit for most of the night, Moose gave the team another option to run the offense through. The team often threw the ball into the post, allowing him to get his spin on, or bring attention so he could swing the ball. This opened up jumpers off the ball swing around the perimeter.

The 26-year-old also scored 18 points on a highly efficient 6-7 shooting and 6-7 from the line. He also added seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block.

The big man has yet to reach the playoffs, and seems very motivated to make it happen. He’s been playing with a heightened level of effort all season, but since the All-Star break, he’s stepped it up another notch (I’m sure it’s not about his contract at all!)
