Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways From Win Over Indiana Pacers

Many Minutes For Middleton
Khris Middleton was forced to play 37 heavy minutes, hitting his minutes high since returning from hamstring injury. Not only did Middleton play a lot, but he also looked so smooth on the floor, regardless of the seven turnovers.
Middleton looks as good as he did in the middle of last season when he was breaking out into a more dominant role.
On this occasion, he did an excellent job of balancing setting up his teammates and attacking for himself. He hit a number of jump shots with a hand in his face, when he decided he had just the right amount of time to get his shot off. The Bucks star had 21 points on 7-14 from the field, 3-5 from three, and 4-6 from the line.
If Brogdon is unable to play on the back-to-back Saturday night, the Bucks will have to rely on Middleton in the same role he played on Friday. He just played his first back end of a back-to-back two weeks ago in Cleveland. It’ll be interesting to see if Khris can play big minutes again, as the Bucks need his best to make noise in the playoff race.
