The Tired Bucks

After the fast start, the Bucks certainly looked tired. That may be because the Warriors were running them off the court, or a result of fatigue that builds up around this part of the season in particular.

More from Behind the Buck Pass

These are the dog days of the NBA season, and even though fans are getting excited about the playoffs many NBA players are starting to feel the wear and tear of 60-plus games catching up to them.

Lots of playoff runs peter out and die in these last several weeks due to some combination of injuries and just plain fatigue causing players to not perform up to par. That’s why so many teams are resting players right about now–they know how tiring the season can be.

In addition, this was Milwaukee’s second game in two nights, and part of a long road trip. The Bucks haven’t been home in about a week. Now the important thing will be Milwaukee snapping out of this funk in time for the next two games against the Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings.
