Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways From Win Over Sacramento Kings

Middleton Doing Enough
Khris Middleton once again played on the back end of a back to back, recording 31 minutes of playing time. He wasn’t controlling the ball a ton, instead allowing Giannis and Malcolm Brogdon to bring the ball up.
He also wasn’t posting up as often as usual, deciding to rotate the ball around the perimeter and play the spot up shooter role. The former Aggie scored 13 points, shooting an efficient 5-11 from the field and 3-6 from three. He never made it to the free throw line.
In a much needed game, the Bucks star did what was necessary. They needed his shooting to stretch the floor, and take some pressure off of Giannis. But, Milwaukee didn’t need him to strain himself in a game they should have been able to take, even with Khris taking the backseat.
Middleton will have one night’s rest before Friday night’s huge game against the Atlanta Hawks.
