Tired Giannis?

The Greek Freak didn’t have his best game. He put up fine numbers, scoring 22 points, with eight rebounds, and 4 assists. But, his energy level just seemed off. The offense wasn’t being run through him, instead he picked his opportunities to attack in transition.

Even more importantly, he struggled to make an impact on the defensive end. The Bucks’ All-Star had an unusual zero steal, zero block game. Without John Henson, the team is left without a rim protector to help Giannis avoid doing everything for the team.

Without the last line of defense, the team has to look towards their All-Star as their defensive stopper. If he can’t make an impact, such as Sunday, the Bucks are liable to give up a ton of easy baskets.

Giannis has been playing with a level of intensity that could be wearing the 22-year-old down. The occasional night where he just doesn’t have his mojo is going to happen. It’s all about him being able to pick it right back up when the team returns to the floor for their next game.
