His per game line of those 22.9 points, 5.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game were good enough for Walker to get his first All-Star nod this season, alongside fellow first-timer Giannis. Walker definitely earned his spot.
Cardiac Kemba is shooting 44.6 percent from the field and 40.2 percent from three-point territory, both of which are career-best marks for the sixth-year point guard. Walker has struggled to enter the elite point guard territory in the East, despite his great numbers.
Even if Walker isn’t typically associated with the top floor generals in the East like Isaiah Thomas, Kyrie Irving and John Wall, he’s still one hell of a player. The Bucks will have to work to contain him, especially when he’s beyond the three-point arc, if Milwaukee wants to beat the fundamentally-sound Hornets.
