Major Key For Indiana: Get Shooters Involved

Indiana needs Paul George to do better than he has recently, but even in a good performance the star forward will need some help. That’s where the bench shooters on this team who somehow don’t start over Monta Ellis come in.

Noted Bucks killer C.J. Miles is the best shooter the Pacers have, but guys like Thaddeus Young, Jeff Teague and Aaron Brooks can hurt teams from outside as well. If any or all of those players heat up from outside it will make George’s life a whole lot easier.

There’s also one more shooter in Indiana who can hurt teams. Lance Stephenson hasn’t been back with the Pacers for long, but he’s making up for lost time with the way he’s been playing since his epic return to the team that drafted him 40th overall back in 2010.

Lance is shooting 66.7 percent on threes in two games back with the Pacers. All jokes about blowing in LeBron James‘ ear aside, Stephenson can really play, and he brings a level of intensity that should help the Pacers as this playoff push progresses.
