Some Solid Showings Spoiled

After being brought in last offseason to be a sniper from deep, Mirza Teletovic has often failed to deliver this season, averaging five percent lower than last season on threes, and his lowest points per game since his rookie year. That wasn’t the case last night.

Mirza came in hot and kept firing. All eight of his shots were from distance, and he sunk five of them, including three in the second quarter. It’s a shame that in a game where he makes his second-highest amount of threes this season the Bucks fail to deliver a win.

Giannis also had a commendable performance. He put up 25 points on just 14 shots, and got sent to the line for 13 free throws, hitting 11. All night long he did a great job attacking the rim, and carried the load offensively.

Simply put, no one else showed up. No one else scored more than 10 points, and the team had only 21 assists. There was no way the Bucks could overcome their sloppy performance without someone stepping up, so they dropped another game.
